Quilt

Hi and welcome to quilting. I am new to quilting also and love every minute of it. Recently went shop hopping in San Antonio. You have three wonderful quilt shops to check out. They are Seventh Heaven Quilt Shop, Creative Sewing Center, and Memories By The Yard. It depends on which one you are the closest to but I recommend signing up for a beginner class and your new life will begin. Enjoy your retirement.

Get Alec Anderson's book "Learn to Quilt". You can't go wrong with it. :)

Thanks for the book! I stopped by a shop on my way home from work. I am going to be introduced to my sewing machine on Monday. I'm also going to be introduced to a rotary cutter on Saturday. I supposed I should buy some supplies. Can anyone suggest items a beginner should have? Can you also suggest the brand as well so I don't stare at a wall full of rotary cutters for an hour? I am known to obsess. lol. Thanks again!
