I am in Kansas City. I haven't joined a quilt guild yet although I understand there is a good one here. I am just getting back in the game and a little hesitant yet to join a guild. Soon, probably.

Thanks for the welcome. I visited the Textile Center in Minneapolis and was overwhelmed at the talent shown there! We have daughters in St. Paul and love to visit at the time of the Loring Park Art Fair; went once to the Uptown--it was tooooo big! I love the Twin Cities--except for winter!

purrfectquilts: I admire that you have made many DWQs! Whenever I tell my quilting friends that I am working on a DWQ the always roll their eyes and say "Good Luck". I am encouraged that you have made many of them! I hope I can finish just this one!

Welcome from another Iowan in Missouri...just 8 miles from Iowa line on 136 and YY. Little place called Hartford, Mo. Don't blink as you travel by, you will miss it.

I have done two double wedding rings...no more. Like simple patterns now in retirement. Made 6 quilt tops in one month, year or two ago in October. Struggling to finish the FWSQ with group on QB...all winter and summer project.
