Hi Rose from another Jersey Girl. So sorry to hear of the destruction you and many of your neighbors are dealing with. We were quite fortunate where we are. Just days of no power. Easy by comparison. The quilting will help ease the pain.

Hi Rosie, welcome from NE Ohio.Glad you made it through the storm safely. And want to tell everyone affected out there to just in there because there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We can't all be there phsysically to help but our heart are with you all.

Hi Rosie, welcome from New Hampshire.
Glad you escaped most of Sandy's ravages.
I have 2 quilts almost finished for the family of a good friend whose homes were destroyed in Breezy Point and the Rockaways.

Rosie, Welcome and my quilting has kept me sane all though this since we do own a house on LBI...which has been totally gutted. While we were waiting to be able to go back on the island to access the damages I sewed the blocks for two queen size quilt tops Crazy Quilt II pattern...so now all I have to do is put them together. But it has been a nerve racking three weeks....fist is knowing if we still had a house...then finding out we got 27 inches of water then everything that I own put out to the curb.....But we are Jersey Strong...meeting up with the wind adjuster today....thank goodness we never even lost power at the other house.....but I am looking forward to getting everything done by April l I will be ready to go back.
