I Dianne
I've been quilting for 10 years. I hand quilt, may sound crazy but I do not know how to machine quilt, plus love having the quilt on my lap. My first quilt was Sun Bonnet Sue which a friend help finish for me because I came down with GBS and lost the use of my hands, but only lasted for a year so I went gun ho on quilting. I have also quilted pocketbooks, place mats, runners and different size quilts. Last year I made my first scene quilt for my grandson. It was a circus train, with all his family pictures riding in the train, cars and planes. It was alot of fun. This year I started one for my other grandson, who also loves trains, this train is on a safari, also all the family are riding in the train, the different animals was alot of fun to do, when I finish I will send a picture. I am looking forward to this board with meeting all of you. thanks for letting me ramble on.

Hi and Welcome from Massachusetts. You will like it here. I took quilting classes at Saftler's in Whitman which closed for good in August. I am going to miss them. I spend a lot of time here looking and oohing.Enjoy the company.
