Thanks, Pocoellie, this is similar to the method I was talking about. I think I'll use it. The Rick Tims way uses way too much fabric and your left with 'pockets' in your quilt. Not good for little exploring fingers :-).

Hello and welcome from central Alabama. Here is a link to the Eleanor Burns method. I love it. And you can do it without her special ruler.
