Hi! I am so glad to be here. I have been searching for 3 days to find a site like this. It is wonderful, the little bit that I have explored. I am new to the site, I live in Michigan, have been sewing for years (too many to count) and just started to quilt last winter as something new to teach myself. I am now addicted and loving every minute of it. During the summer months I sew clothes for horse shows and try to fit quilting in whenever I can. I long for winter to quilt all the time. My latest projects have been table runners for Christmas gifts. I am also interested in making a quilt with machine embroidery on it, as I have just bought a new machine with embroidery capabilities. Any suggestions or hints are more than welcome. Ann.

Welcome, Ann. Nice to have you here. Where in Michigan do you live? I grew up in northern Wisconsin, near the UP Michigan border.

Hi Loretta, How do you like the 2140? I just bought the 2170 about 3 months ago. The learning curve is a challenge. So much to learn.

Hi Ann, Glad you joined us. Table runners make great Christmas gifts. I made them last year for several people.
