Thank you so much for the warm welcome! That's one of the things that attracted me to this board - everybody is so nice!
Unfortunately, I have to enjoy my grandsons long distance, via facebook and Skype; they live in San Francisco. They're certainly going to be getting a lot of "Made by Grandma" love though. Besides the quilts, I'm already thinking about all the fun halloween costumes, etc. that I can make for them.

Welcome Sheryl from Midland, Mi. I know all about long distance grandparenting. My 3yo grandson and soon to be born granddaughter live in Dallas. I'm always sending stuff I've made down there! I love the fact that I can FaceTime with him and he's finally at the point where he will actually talk to us. My other 2 grandsons live in Midland so I see them a lot- they are 12 and 9 so not the cute baby boys anymore.
You will love this forum and there is so much to learn.
