Hi I'm not new to quilting but new here! Looks like a fun busy place and my favorite topic is quilting, quilt pictures, fabric etc...you know what I mean, anything quilty!
I make lone star quilts mostly and enjoyed making disappearing nine patch, I use the triangle papers and make pinwheels etc. I like easy traditional patterns. A lone star has a couple of tricky spots but I consider it easy, I encourage you to give one a try .
I am Native American, a member of the Blackfeet tribe.
I have 2 daughters and 2 GDs one GS and one ? on the way. I have one cat...her name is Dorothy.
Small town life suits me fine after being a gypsy and have moved here and there. I also paint and took a fun ceramics class for awhile adding many more knick knacks to my hoardville.
I like magpies, cats, roses, polka dots, black and white animals, horses, skunks, and so on. I LOVE fabric having collected lots and have even cut into some of them.
Well I will continue to look around here and see what's going on. Love to meet other quilters and share tips, pictures and other life events.
