I just stumbled across this board while sipping my morning coffee and thought I needed to join up. I started quilting when I "temporarily " became an empty nester . I live in a tiny town of 800 people and any shopping I do for fabric and supplies is done primarily online. Yes I love to collect fabric. Don't we all. My other bad habit is having old sewing machines follow me home with a little help from my DH as he likes to find ones to challenge me. I do give some of them away to encourage beginners to learn to sew. My DD and my DGD have moved back home now and I have a sewing partner who is now 7 and has been using her own machine since she was 4. I don't know how much I can help others on this board but I am sure that I'll be here occaisionaly looking for some.
