Welcome NC! My mom and sis are close by in Wilson. I'm on my iphone too in the same room as my desktop! My excuse is I'm watching my Rays the Durham Bulls big league brothers. It sounds better than admitting to Friday nite post school tiredness. There's so much teaching and helpful info on machine quilting, and I'm just on my Elna, but what I hear and read over and over is Practice a little as often as you can.

Welcome from Mass.
We took a road trip to and around N.C. this summer.First stop was in Raleigh to visit with our son's biological uncle. then we went to visit my childhood best friend west of Fayetteville. Then we went to visit my hunny's cousin in Newport,NC out at the coast .While near Newport we got to meet ' mimisharon' from this board. She was so kind to make 2 sundresses for our newest fosterchild.Ruthie is 3 yrs old.
I agree with a few of the others b4 me here...spend too much time reading here and you will do less and less quilting....lol.
I am hoping when school starts I will get back to being busy .
By the way...where were You a northerner ?
Welcome again ...peace
