Hi from NY...again

Hi all, my name is Maria and I live in northern NY (Plattsburgh), right on Lake Champlain. I used to visit here often until last spring when DH lost his job and we were so stressed I started going online less often for fun. I have been sewing a lot more and selling my quilts online.
DH started working again in November, but the only job he found was in California, se we are selling our house to move. Again, the pressure is on me to care for the kids and sell the house, on top of making more quilts, now that my web site is picking up.
Because one test is not enough, my job is not secure now either, and chances are I may be unemployed before the end of the year, but since were are planning to complete the move by then, it may not be all that bad.
Anyways, I am back and plan to stay this time. I am glad to see that this is still a great place to come for advice or for a laugh when needed.

Welcome back from NE CA. Where are you going in CA? If you don't mind me asking. Just not the best time to have to sell a house. I wish you luck. I know it's a very stressful time with all this going on, take care of yourself also, glad that you're selling quilts online and doing okay. If you lose your job, maybe you can make up by selling more quilts.

Welcome back from nothern California. Moving to CA, you will find lots of housing "bargains" in this state if you are in the market for a home. Wishing you lots of luck.......Where are you going to be in California if you don't mind sharing. I am in Pine Grove (near Jackson, CA).

Welcome back. Where in Calif? There are several of us spread throught the state and if you land in our area we would love to give you hand, especially with the best places to buy fabrics and stuff!!!
