Hey, Colleen in Oakdale - hop, skip and jump from you. We live not too far from Macalester College! Am not very happy about up to 8" more snow. Even though it is the first day of Winter today, does anyone in Minnesota realize that the days start getting longer TOMORROW????????? Spring is just around the corner. I have lots to do today and I just noticed on Ch. 101 that the snow is around Rochester and aiming towards us. Whoop-dee-doo! Better get the last minute stuff done now. Merry Christmas. Edie

Yup! We both retired from there about 8 years ago, sold the house and moved to western Nevada. Don't have much time for Las Vegas and the south, but our area is beautiful and has great 4-season weather. Stayed retired a couple years and then opened our online fabric business.

When we were there, I think about 9 out of 10 people in Oakdale worked at 3M.

    Welcome from Blaine.

Another 4" of snow today and could still get a couple more. Not a nice night for the Vikings football game. Oh well, it's MN.

Well, the game starts in a few minutes. I heard Favre is going to start after all. They'll all probably crack their heads open. I hear the ground is like concrete. Looks like the snow is over for a while. Don't park on the night plow routes. I have to move the van in the morning. Oh Woe, I hate doing that.

I am happy, the neighbor shoveled us out. I got all the baking done, all the Christmas presents are wrapped, and tomorrow I can start baking for the do on Friday.

Happy shoveling and go you Vikes! Beat da Bears! Edie
