I have a quilting problem that I had a solution for and since I have been out of quilting for a few months have forgotten what it is and need some help and I know it is a problem other quilters have.
I can sew a consistent 1/4 inch seam when piecing until I come to the end of the seam. It moves over a little on the last 2/3 stitches and is now less than 1/4. This makes a big difference if you are working on miniatures especially. Does anyone have a tip on what to do.

I have this problem too, I find if I slow down at the end and feed my fabric slower it is better

Hello and welcome from the UK! I have the same problem so as it is coming to the end of the seam I use my stitchripper to hold it in place. Maybe this will work for you.

I find that slowing down the machine at the end helps a lot. Sometimes I use an awl to hold the ends in place. Good luck!
