Welcome to the Board from East Tennessee. That's a big decision. I bought a Gammill Premier some years ago and it was a huge decision. At that time, I wasn't aware of the Quilting Board and, although I did some on line research, being able to talk to some experienced machine quilters would have been a big help. Good luck with your purchase, whatever you decide.

Hi Misty's Mom,
No, I'm not that close to you ... about an hour ... I'm in Katy, but I drive anywhere!! Coming your way tomorrow. Going to Quilt frog about noon-ish ... might swing buy (oops, I mean by ...lol) the old town quilt shop if I have time after buying the longarm!!

Hi from Texarkana, TX! Welcome to the QB. I have a Gammill Vision 18-8 that I purchased at the International Quilt Festival there in Houston in 2011. I have really enjoyed it. The Innova is also an awesome machine and I like the HandiQuilter machines. Unless you are just in a super hurry to purchase, I would recommend that you wait until the IQF this November and try them all out. If you want to purchase sooner, there are dealers in the Houston area for several of the major longarm brands so, perhaps you could visit several to try out the different machines.
Good luck and enjoy whatever machine you choose!
