Thank you for the warm welcome. I love it here, wondelful friendly people, everywhere you go you get greeted with smiles and big hello's.I'm originally from NY and lived many years in South Fla. so up here is like heaven to me. Only problem is that there is not many places that you can get quilting stuff. That is why my plans for the near future is to open a Quilt Shop/Craft Store.
I'm messing around with my computer and I think I figure out a way to post pictures by the end of the week.

Hi Donna, Thanks for the welcome. I used to live in Up-State NY in the Catskills and used to go to that big fleemarket you got up there. Last time I went was in 2005. I live in Wendell NC which is a little east-north east of Raleigh. Wendell is an old fashion town is all still mainly farm land. there is no big stores or anything like that. We have 2 small supermarkets, a post office, 2 banks, 1 family owned drugstore, 1 McDonald, a few gas stations and 3 schools. You have to drive 15 to 20 minutes to get to any major stores but we love it the way it is. Is peacefull and country.
You can see how hard it is for me to get quilting materials. That is why I'm planing to open a Quilt/Craft store in the near future.

Welcome from MN! I went to college in Greensboro and stayed there a few years after graduation -plus lived 5th grade year in Wake Forest (when it was a sleepy little town) and my father and his family now live in Holly Springs in the opposite corner of Raleigh metro from you. Open that shop and next time I am in the area I'll visit!!
