Welcome to the QuiltingBoard and to RV life. I have a 5th wheel and have lived in it for a couple of years and plan to continue traveling in it. I found that the dining table was too low for me so I use the kitchen counter/sink area for cutting and ironing. I have a portable toolbox (Stanley Mobile Workcenter) on wheels for all my quilting tools. I bought it at Home Depot for about $30. I have a SewEzi table for my sewing machine. I use my Featherweight in the RV. I have not had to cut out a whole quilt while in the RV, yet. But, I would think that you could check with the RV park you are in and ask if there is a party room with folding tables that you could use. I kept my fabric in plastic storage boxes and stored my cutting mat between the couch and the wall.

Where do you all plan to travel? If you are ever in Louisiana, i would love to meet up with you all.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Lucia

Hi, I don't RV, but we have a houseboat on a lake. I don't know how RVers go from place to place (how you pick your spots to stay), but theres a state park near our lake on the Savannah river, and there are lots of hook ups there and its just the most beautiful place. Esp in the late fall cus its still warm here.
Hope you get to see lots of the USA. sharet
