Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

Welcome from North Dakota. You don't by any chance live close to Manilla, Iowa do you? My son just got his first church assignment there & I've been trying to find out information on the town or ones close by. You'll love this board!

I am about 45 miles from Manilla. I have been there but not for a long time so don't remember much about it. It's a pretty small town but only about 8 or 10 miles from Denison. Denison is a real nice town, about 6500 population. I used to go there real often to a quilt shop but it has closed now but another small shop has opened. I have a good friend there that does awesome machine quilting. There is a great quilt shop in Elkhorn, Iowa so when you come to visit be sure and go there. It is a little ways from Manilla but would be worth it. I know where most of the quilt shops are in Western Iowa so if you want anymore info, be sure and let me knw..Hope your son likes Manilla, sorry I couldn't tell you more about it.
