Hi and welcome to the board. My name is Patsy also, but I usually go by Pat. I currently live in AZ, but when my husband was on active duty (22.5 years) we lived in TX 3 different times. We are looking into perhaps moving to the Corpus Christi area in the future.

Hello fron Dallas. I am a transplant(by choice!) and I love it here!! I really did not think that many people did quilting or sewing in Texas. Having a hard time finding any type of sewing/quilting shows on TV. Or even anyone that knows how to sew - much less quilt!!! But, I am teaching people about it as I meet them and they show interest in it!!!

Welcome from another Texan
Go to Sharon Schambers video on You Tube. I think it is about basting the quilt sandwich but it has her methood of putting the sandwich together. It makes it so easy and You could do it yourself. My friend spray bastes instead of thread basting which saves a lot of time. I did baste Sharon's way and found it really held well and was reasonably fast.
