Hi, I am new here and not computer smart at all. I'm 75 years young and learning to quilt and use an embroidery machine. I make quilts for children that come under state care. It seemed like a friendly place from what I read and could learn a lot here. Thanks.. Betty

Welcome to the Quilting Board. This is a fantastic group on here. You will enjoy and learn so much. I have been sewing for many years and quilting for about 20 years but I still learn something new almost everytime I come on here. I still don't FMQ my own quilts though. I do SID on small projects but haven't got the nerve to do a large quilt on my small machine. Thank goodness I have a great LAQ who lives near me so when I can afford it I let her do my larger quilts!!
