I am new to this area and started quilting about four years ago.
I teach sunday school and I am a full time student working on getting my Masters degree in Psychology. I also work at a national harware chain as an Area Loss Prevention and Safety Manager.
I have 3 kids ages 25, 23 and 12 and one brand new grandson that was born in June!
I was married for 27 years and divorced about 8 years ago. I just remarried six months ago and moved to my new hubby's location where I knew absolutely no one except my husband. But before I knew it I was active in my community and I am getting to know everyone around town.
I currently have started making quilts for our local womans shelter and pregnancy help center. Anyone that might be interested in making quilts for babies or donating fabric any/all would be appriciated..just let me know!
I am excited that I found a place with others who have a passion for quilting.
I am off to see new patterns and ideas!
    Have A Great Day!

    Hi Butterfly:
Welcome...I seem to be a bit late with my welcome but it's been Christmas time and like everyone, there were lots of things to do. INow that you are here I think you will love the board. It's inspiring, a whole world of education at your finger tips and the ladies (and men) are pretty fun, knowledgeable, helpful and someone ALWAYS has an answer to the question that has been stumping me. Post pictures. We love to see what you are doing.

Welcome from Pensacola! I think I have seen you in Chat too, so you have jumped right in, and thats the best way to do it!

This group is addicting too. You may get distracted from quilts by all the friends you'll make here!
