Default Howdy from an ol Kansas farm boy

Well I joined this forum because of my new passion of repairing and restoring vintage sewing machines. Have met some very nice people that have given me some great advice.
i was getting some advice from Caroline when I looked into her profile and saw her quilting album. I was just stunned at the beauty of her work. I expressed interest in her work and she recommended a quilting book for beginners. I guess guys can quilt too so I'm thinking I might give it a shot. I would have a lot to Lear at the age of 60 but Caroline has encouraged me and said there are a lot of members that would help. Glad I found this board.

Welcome from the California desert. My great grandfather quilted too. There are lots of vintage machine enthusiasts here.
