I live in Indiana, I love cats and my name is Carol

Now you know how I got my screen name. LOL!
I've sewn clothes all my life but in 1982 a neighbor asked if I'd make her a wall hanging. It was one I'd wanted to make a quilt for myself (Grandmother's Fan) so I figured I'd "practice" on her wall hanging before I made my quilt. Her wall hanging got finished but my quilt is only about 3/4 quilted. Then in 2002 I caught the qulting bug again. In 2004 DH saw how many unquilted tops I had and bought me a Gammill Optimum plus. In 2006 I started my quilting business. In May of 2009 he decided to up-grade my machine with an Intelliquilter (IQ) .Always thought a computerized machine was "cheating" but my body really enjoys it. LOL!
If you would like to see the quilts I've quilted, check out my webshots.

DH and I have been married just under 10 years. In that time we have been on 23 cruises, just under 200 days at sea. Most of our cruises have been Caribbean but we have also done Panama Canal, 4 Alaska cruises (LOVE their quilt stores) and last Dec. Amazon River. At one of the ports I did a 14 jump zip line excursion. I'm hooked.
