Janice, welcome to this site and all the wonderful people here. You have come to the right place to help set you on your quilting feet again. Prayers will be said and hugs will be around you here. Try to think about the good things that are still here, not the past, it can't be changed. Your daughters future has many changes to come and you will have joy at all of her steps of improvement, big or small. Hugs!

Janice, I read about your daughter in the Enquirer and heard about it on the news when this horrible crime happened. I hope it helps you to know that she was then (and still is) in my prayers as well as those of many, many people in the area who don't even know her. It is so horrible that anyone could do something like this to another person at random. Whenever I drive Columbia Parkway (which I do often since I'm right across the river) I say a prayer for Joyce's recovery. Please keep us up on how she is doing. And I hope you can find some comfort in your quilting again.

So sorry to read about your daughter. There is nothing that I can say to make it better, but I will keep her in my prayers.

That said, Welcome to the best place to get inspiration and encouragement, or to just vent! This is a GREAT board!

Oh, your poor beautiful daughter! I had not heard this story before, but my heart aches for you both. She will be in my prayers.

I hope that you can find your quilting mojo again, and agree with Blue Chicken all the way!
