Welcome! Perhaps you could jump back in with something smaller such as placemats or table runner that you could easily hand piece and quilt. I also love to make potholders when wanting to try a new block. Hoping things get easier for you soon.

Katie, life always changes. You never know when it is going to but I hope that there are plenty of happy surprises in yours and one is that you get back to quilting.
Perhaps you could try a little handquilting if you do not have room for a machine. It is a very peaceful hobby and is very easy to pick up and put down.
Welcome to the board from the beautiful, sunny South West of England.

Divorce is hard on everyone, especially financially...You just keep smiling and find something really small to work on while watching television and before you know it, you'll be back in the game. Until then enjoy the forum, I know I do and I don't consider myself a really great quilter, just like to do it!
