First I would like to welcome you to the board from Oregon. Now I want to say thank you for helping all those children, that is such a wonderful thing you are doing and may God bless you for it. There are very talented people on the board, just ask your question and someone will answer . Penny

i did it because someone took me in when i was "lost". so i felt i needed to pay it forward. one of my kids showed up on my door step when she was 25 years old..and thanked us! (she was the only teen i took in..and boy what a handful she was!)

Ee always hope that some of what we do for these kids will someday show them how much we cared for them.
We adopted JOE. He is 15 now....soooooo....You guessed it .It is not a lot of fun right now . He has a lot of bad baggage plus the '' oh so precious'' teenage years...lol
Our friends tell us....'' and You signed up for this .''
we pray alot....keep busy and keep hopeing.
thanks for the greeting....Alice

My husband was adopted and so was I. He went with 2 siblings .
I was separated from my sister and we were raised apart from each other by family .
It does feel good that we are trying to help other kids find their way..

Hi Watterstide,
We can only has 2 in our home at one time . Because we do ''intensive care fostercare our numbers are limited .
Intensive foster care is for kids with bigger problems than most . They usually have really big issues . It takes a lot of training and mucho patience .
I think that a person has to lots of parenting skills to do this job .
Thanks for the greeting....Alice
