I'm not exactly new, but have never introduced myself. I do have a question. I gather that from time to time someone writes that they are out of fabric and cannot afford any. Do you find that this is always on the up-and-up? I would release some of my stash to help someone, but won't if it is just to build a fabric collector's stash. I hope I made myself clear. And will explain to me how I would go about sending fabric forward. Thanks.

I don't know about sending fabric on. I would certainly be glad to do it, but I, like you, have questions . And that's what my comment is about: how far we've gone away from the good, "normal" life and trust we have had in this country, and how sad that times are such that we've all had to become so suspicious.

Welcome to the board.
I think the people who get the biggest response to fabric requests on the board are people who have been around a long time. Regulars sort of "get to know" each other. Many have off-board relationships as well.
