Hello new friends! My name is Lori and I am from Northern NH in the White Mountains. Fall is just starting and the first burst of color is starting to show up. (The best time of year.) I am fairly new to quilting and I love it!! I just got a new Janome 1600P-DB with a Handi-quilterII frame. I am having a few problems with it ,but I am sure I will figure it out sometime soon. (I Hope) I am a mother of 4 and a wife. My kids are ages 10,4,3,and 2. Yep, I am busy. My quilting takes place around 8pm to whenever I can't see straight anymore. My oldest is my 40 year old child. You all know how that is, I don't even think I have to go there.
Well I am looking forward to making new friends and getting lots of good advice. I am ready and willing to learn.
Hope to here from you all soon.
God Bless! Lori

Hi, Lori! Welcome to the family! We are so happy to have you join us! I can imagine that you are one busy lady with all of those little ones! What sort of problems are you having with your Janome, maybe we can help. Feel free to post any questions, comments or pictures you like.

Hi Lori,
So glad you joined, you need some sanity once in awhile, eh? Your mountains are the most beautiful and I enjoyed talking with you in chat the other day. Hope you'll be able to make some of the evening chats, also.
Tell the biggest kid his job is to put the little ones to bed so you can quilt. That's what I tell my 68 yo kid! He makes more messes than I'm willing to clean up!
