Welcome from Ontario, Canada. A potholder or table runner is a good place to start. Look through the YouTube videos by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt co. and see if there is anything there you want to try.

Howdy from Texas & welcome to this great quilting board. There are so many helpful quilters here who will get you going in the right direction. Ask as many questions as you want because even experienced quilters can learn new things that they've never encountered before. Tartan is right...start with something small so you get the feel of how to do a little piecing of a block or two & then the experience of sandwiching it together with the batting & backing & then the fun part of quilting all three pieces together. Then comes a binding around the edge & you are done. We love pictures so be sure & send some our way.
