    Default Introduce myself

Hi my name is Connie and I am from California. I love quilting and sewing misc items. My main machine is in being serviced so I am currently using my New Home 532 J-A30 machine. I was gifted this machine (So no manual) and was wondering, is there a way for the needle to be in the middle of the presser foot instead of over to the left? The only way I can find it being in the middle is when the machine is set on zig zag.

    Hello and Welcome!

There are machines that are "left-homing" - which I learned, much to my dismay, when I bought a machine from an acquaintance of mine.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Sorry, not a machine I am familiar with.

Welcome from Texas. I watched a couple of you tubes to see if they said anything about the needle & nothing was said about being able to adjust the needle position. Hope you can still use the machine as is while your other one is in the shop being serviced.
Here's where you can purchase a manual for the machine:

    Hello & welcome!

    You can probably find/ buy that manual on-line. I have a 552 model but it's not set-up.

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! I am unfamiliar with your machine and cannot add to anything already stated. I am glad you have another machine to use while your main machine is in being serviced. I was talking with DH this afternoon and the possibility of a new machine. First thing first, let me get machines I have here serviced first and get those working like new before adding to the 14 machines I have here now! It is always great to have another quilter and sewer join us here. Jump right into the conversations. You will be more than welcomed. Again welcome to the QB!
