Hi, Im a fairly new quilter from Killeen TX. My name is Pat and I need advice from you wonderful quilters. I've just found out a friend is expecting twins in a couple of months, and I wanted to make matching his and her baby quilts. The theme of the nursery is "jungle". What would you do to make a baby girl and baby boy quilt with that theme? I am stumped. Appreciate any suggestions you can give

Nice little brick town, Killeen is.
I think that in this case I'd make some cute little Teddy Bear quilts, both with the Bears looking out at you and their feet holding back their blankets. One in different pinks and one in different blues. I'd make the bears all a dark brown to contrast with the paler colors.
Or, as I did with one friend's grand, I made it with all sorts of crazy quilt pinks, squares all banded in a dark, dark sashing of a narrow, deepest pink. Forgot to take pictures of it, that was some years ago. Could be done in blue too. I was thinking of doing another one, but putting a center square with a bear in it.
