Thanks for the welcome guys!
Bettlove where abouts in CA are you from. I am in GA right now but am from the Chico area orginally. I miss it but when I go home I cant believe how it has grown. Georgia has its charm as well. I am near the coast near Savannah GA. :D
Marlene, looks like you are doing well with the computer stuff. Looks like we have lots in common. I love to read, garden and quilt. Quilting is self taught as well.........I am learning as I go! I thought I knew a good amount but then I joined this site and saw all the talent. I am blown away. :D

[b]hi yes for sure there is so much more and the way I learned comes out to the same thing just different terms but theres so much I never even heard of , and the beautiful work i see done is just so amazing!!!! Ilove to some one elses work when done. I forgot to anounce I'm from Ontario Canada. lol So my quilts come in handy on chilly day or night when I sit upstairs on my outside patio , Hubby built it for me off the bedroom , so I just need to look out and see the lake. ok ttyl.

Howdy and a big ole Texas welcome to both Marlene & Dazzleme. You gals could be my sisters....I enjoy doing the same things and I live on a lake. Good luck and enjoy this quilting board, there are lots of wonderful people here.
