Hi my name is Kathy. I live in Utah and have quilted off and on for the last 25 years. I am learning to do machine quilting, but I still love hand quilting. For me it is very relaxing. I have 4 living children, my oldest daughter has been married just over a year, another daughter is in college, and I have 2 sons 14 and 11, whom I homeschool.
I enjoy quilting and it is something I have taught my daughters how to do as well.

I bought material up when I was working, stored it for projects when I retired, now i see i couldn't use it if I live to be a 100. I have been married for 50 years have two daughters, Pam died 5 years ago, suddenly from some type of virus, she was Administrator of a handicapp center, Jill is a learning disability teacher. I have three grandsons, and one grandaughter. Making Quilts is rewarding isn't it?

Welcome from Minnesota. DH and I just returned from a trip to your area that included a 5-day canoe trip through Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River then down to N. Rim of Grand Canyon, up to Great Basin Nat'l Park then back into Utah where we visited the ? Springs area south of Dugway then north throgh SLC to Bear River Bird Refuge and Golden Spike Monument. What part of Utah are you from?
