hi, all,
i've been reading this group's posts for a few weeks and really love the "atmosphere." lots of great information, lots of different ideas/viewpoints, and a warm and welcoming vibe.
i moved to eastern long island four years ago from cape cod, mass. my job at a veterinarian hospital is science-oriented and pretty stressful, so i am passionate about quilting as a creative outlet. for the past few years i've been exploring art quilting and surface design ~~~ so much to learn!
i look forward to meeting everyone.

welcome Ann-Marie! This board is great. I love art quilting myself. I love Applique too because it is just like painting only with thread and material instead of oils. I paint with oils. Look forward to seeing your work!! Again Welcome
