I do appreciate all of your imput!! My husband took me shopping and bought me a Janome HT2008LE machine that sews 50 different stitches! I love it! It''s a big step up compared to what I use to have! I knew the embroidery machines would be pricey, but......WOW! I am pleased with mine (for now) and have already started on my grandaughter a baby quilt! :D

Hi! I have recently moved to another state and found your comment by googling brother sewing machine xr 65. That is the model I have. During my move, I have managed to lose my foot pedal. Would you please tell me how you found another one? The brother website just shows accessories, not spare parts...

Now I can say 'from one Janome owner to another'...you are so going to be in love w/that baby!! I started out on a simple Janome 3200 after my very old Brother went to the world of old sewing machines. I loved that one adn wanted to beef it up. It even quilted the quilts w/me:))So beefed up to the Janome 6600...so love it even more! You will not be sorry and you will want to give it a little hug at least once a day!! And, as they say, 'your machine is your car-how far do you want to drive'?;))LOLEnjoy! Skeat

You will love your Janome. Have had mine for a year now and love it more every day :!: Had to use my old White today(smaller open arm to get into a tight area for repair)what a difference. Know that the White has been "driven" for 50 years  and still runs great, just isn't as comflortable and smooth as the Janome. Enjoy making pretties for that new Granddaughter.
