My husband is retired military we have traveled considerably and finally settled down in Kansas. I was originally from Brunswick Maine. We had two children, one of each. Our daughter lives here in Kansas also; our son passed away in 2009. We have two grandboys and our Little Abby (mini Schnauzer). Love quilting and Cross Stitching and possibly wil need help in future endeavor's, anyone willing to help will be greatly appreciated. Presently trying to find out about "Quilt's of Valor" size, width, background, etc.
Have really enjoyed reading about everyone on line and so far I am impressed at everyone involved. Sounds anfd looks like a really excellant group.

I lived in Kansas for 20 years and loved it. I'm sorry about your loss.
Citizen Sam and Quilts of Valor can be found on their websites:

I have a daughter near Ft. Scott, and a son in Topeka.
I last lived outside Ft. Riley, in Riley, KS.
Whereabouts are you?

Welcome. I am from NE (CT) and now live in Oklahoma.
And I have a foster dog named Emmy Lou, who is the sweetest girl ever. Great name, and I miss Maine sometimes. If you are ever in the Tulsa area, give me a shout.
