I'm left handed and have not had any problems. I use either hand to sew but I knit right handed and crochet left handed. I use any available scissors that are sharp enough to cut. By the way, I love this board!

I am right handed, but my family is split 50/50 'Lefties' and 'Righties'. The only time 'handedness' is an issue is teaching crocheting. I know, I am the one they all come to.

I am a lefty. I use left handed scissors. I Switch the blade in a rotary cutter so it works for left handed use. I adjust the way things are cut . For example you may get instructions to cut a folded fat quarter starting at the left working to the right . That is awkward for me and I do it from Right to left. That is all I can think of but there may be other thing I do so automatic that I am not aware that I do it.

I am also a lefty, only difference is that I cannot cut left handed. I do cut right handed, always have. Tried lefty scissors and couldn't cut, it was weird. But I crochet left and knit right. All crochet is backwards to most people, like the buttons and button holes are on the wrong side. I do most of my sports right-handed except for softball, I do use a left-handed glove. Be happy to answer your questions.

WOW! Just got back on here and I'm so impressed by the large number of lefties and all the friendly responses. Ended up talking to Rhonda Gudath in N.Y. Wish I were allowed more words for more interviewees.

Now I'm beating the bushes for college students, over age 35, who have interesting stories for a back-to-school story. If you know a nontraditional student -- has to be someone attending a physical campus, not online -- who has a nifty story, contact me at [email protected]. Would be especially nice to find someone in New Mexico or Wyoming. I don't ask for much ...

    Thanks!
