Let Me Introduce Myself.
My name is Hope Powell and I have been quilting for real for about 9 years. Prior to years ago I had made 2 quilted items but they were small wall hangings.
My daughter and I decided to take a quilting class and before all was said and done the shop owner convinced me to buy her business as she was moving out of state. I have been quilting ever since. I have sewn all my life so this was not a huge jump but it was a great leap of faith. I love what I do and I love having my daughter with me too.
After our first year of business we decided to add a long arm quilting machine. What fun!! I love finishing quilts for people and seeing the joy on their face when a project is complete.
We are located in the mountains of North Carolina and it is a beautiful place to live. The people are wonderful - as are all quilters - and quick to share their knowledge.
Benjamin Franklin said "Find something you like to do and you will never work another day in your life". I say "Amen"!
