I am new at quilting. Just finished a teddy bear quilt for my grandson. I am hooked and love it. So much to learn. One question I have is how long should the cotary cutter blade last as I seem to go through them quickly? What is the best brand? :D

Welcome from central Florida.
I use Olfa blades and they seem to last a long time. There is a new type of ruler (Sullivan's The Cutting Edge) that supposedly sharpens your blade as you use it. Bought it but haven't used it yet. Also, be sure your cutting mat is clean and in good shape, it makes a difference.
