I'd win!! I've lurked on this site forever and now it's time to come out of the "fabric closet" and introduce myself. After 38yrs as an RN I decided to retire in January to take quilt classes, join a guild, and go on retreats. Two weeks later DH lost his job (oh well-life happens). You all have been my teachers, my guild friends and every night at 10pm my quilt retreat. Thank you so much for letting me in--you are the best!!

Hi, JanRN,
When I first read your message, I thought you were saying that you had lurked for over 30 years! I had to read it again! Lol. Welcome, and I'm sorry you did lurk for so long before joining us in the fun. Of course we will be your retreat, but why wait until 10 o'clock?

Welcome from Pine Grove, CA.
As a former lurker, I so identify with you.
This online guild are the best teachers around.
And the pictures of completed quilts make me drool all
over my keyboard.
(p.s.---you would be surprised how many retired RNs
and teachers are quilters---out of the mouth of the owner
of our local quilt store ----yes, I was a teacher)
