Hi everyone, I stumbled on this site about a week ago & enjoy the posts and photos. There are some very talented quilters here with absolutely beautiful work! I am jealous of those with a long-arm quilter. I am a nurse by trade but a seamstress at heart. I started sewing when I was six years old and just realized that was almost 50 years ago (ugh!!) My current passion is quilted purses; just taught myself free-form quilting on my 30-year-old Viking sewing machine - addicted!

Welcome to the board.! There are many lovely people on this board. I also am an RN, I guess retired as I have such limits I can't find a job. But learning to quilt has saved my sanity in so many ways. So, enjoy and believe me you learn something new every day from this wonderful,sharing group.
