With 9 children I am amazed that you have time to think, much less to quilt. I have two adult children and I am now retired after 36 years of elementary teaching. I am only now finding time to quilt. I admire your grit. Welcome to the quilting board.

Welcome - you have the organizational skills (for raising 9 children) to be a great quilter in whatever style of quilter you choose to be. Or better yet be eclectic and try a little of everything.
