Hello Esteemed Quilting Boarders!
After some while of lurking on the "sidelines" and marveling at all of you, I decided to "peek" out and say Hello from Richmond, Virginia. It is presently 102 degrees @ 7 pm, and I am grateful to be in air conditioning, reading the Quilting Board with my sewing machine and projects.
My biggest problem is finishing. I've been at it for three years, have started 5 quilts, and not finished one of them. Clinical depression is not my friend. So, even when I'm not in the frame of mind to sew, I'm usually good to read The Board.
It is such a pleasure to read about all of you, find great inspiration and support, and see EVERYone's God-given talent. I have lived vicariously through you as a quilter. All of you have taught me so much, and I have so more more to learn, so here I am. Thank you for being here.
So, could somebody teach me how to Finish a quilt.

Thank you Ann Clare and MinnieKat!
unfortunately, my UFO list is much longer than 5 quilts... and, includes soft-sculpture cloth dolls, and some other sewing projects.
Oh, I have a p. s.: Jesse and Cody were by my side (as always) when I wrote my intro, and I didn't even mention them. They're my two 4-yo boys - furrry boys (much shedding, and still furry), my meowbabies. just didn't want to leave them out...
