I've enjoyed so many of the topics that I have been reading the past few months, and I am gathering myself to show you a gift that I made for a friend. This lady is very special to alot of people and when she said that she was moving back to Illinois, I knew that many of her California friends would miss her greatly. So....out came my stash and patterns and thoughts, to make something that only she would be able to 'see'. You see....our friend we would say is handicapped, she says gifted! I hope that you enjoy her gift as well she is still busy 'reading it'! From Northern California to Southern Illinois.

Thank you, I had fun learning how to spell in Braille, I just hope I spelled correctly! :-)

I'm sure this quilt will be treasured by your dear friend. You did a truly amazing thing in making this so that she could have a part of all her friends with her when she moves.
