Kiki--welcome to Kansas. I live in Northeast Kansas and there are plenty of quilt shops East of Ft. Riley for sure. Check out Manhattan, Topeka has 3, Holton, Hiawatha, Leavenworth, Baldwin, Burlingame, Emporia just to give you a few towns. I've been to each place and they all vary in fabrics you will love. If you arrive in mid-May through July be sure you learn what counties are around you and the towns so you can watch TV for severe weather news such as tornados. Hope this doesn't scare you off but you need to know. Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma all lie in tornado alley.

Another Kansas welcome to you, Kiki. I am all the way east in the KC metro area. I am wondering if you are moving a longarm from Germany?? I got an Innova in Dec and very slowly learning to use it. So much that I need to know I find on YouTube.. amazing what other quilters want to share! Wish you well on the big move.
