this is very beautiful! I am seeing more and more green and beige used in a quilt and I really love it! I must try one myself - but it won't be GFG! I don't have the patience for that! :)

Gorgeous! I never would have picked that for a first quilt, but it came out beautifully. Have fun with the hand quilting, and be sure to share pics after.
