Welcome from So. Cal. I feel the same way about my mom's 1950 Singer 15-91, She taught me to sew on that machine and it is still going strong. I also love to sew with my great-great Aunt May's Damascus treadle machine from 1925. Neither of my sisters sewed the way I did growing up so it was a connection I had with my mother. Luckily it was my mother that gave me her machine, I told her the only thing I wanted to inherit was the machine, which she said was silly and just gave it to me since she was't sewing anymore. (I couldn't get it in my car fast enough so she wouldn't change her mind.)

Welcome from Texas. What a lovely story you gave to us about your grandmother & her machine. It's a priceless treasure that you have inherited from her & I know you will sew many beautiful things on it....remembering her the whole time.
