Would love to see a picture. I have my mother's Singer treadle that she got back in the 1930s. A man came around selling refurbished machines, and Daddy traded him some ribbon cane syrup for it. Still works great. It's the only machine I've found that will sew over bluejean seams.

Hi from Mississippi. Like the others said, post a picture and serial # and someone should be able to help you identify her. Also post in Vintage Machine Photos and the VSMS topics.

There are a lot of tutorials on how to restore the old machines.

Check out the thread - Vintage Sewing Machine Shop and you will learn a lot. Lostn51 can answer almost all of your questions.

Hello and a warm welcome from southeastern West Virginia. I've known lots of old treadles that looked like they were goners come to life with just a little bit of attention. Good luck with yours.
