Welcome from So Cal (but a little north of you!) You'll find everyone on this board very helpful. A good way to get into quilting is to take a sampler class at your local quilt shop. There are also lots of easy patterns to start out on. However you do it, you'll be hooked for life! There's plenty of inspiration on this board!

welcome an bless you for being on call for your grandmother.I was the one who was on call for my dad when we found out that he had lung cancer.god rest his soul.i lost him 3 1/2 years ago an it seems like yesterday.
