I'm originally from San Diego but have lived in a dozen different states due to career moves. I have three grown children, five grandchildren, and two and 1/2 great grandchildren. Most live in other states, so I don't see them very often. But, my hobby keeps me busy, and one of my sons lives nearby to keep an eye on ole mom. :)
As a perennial student, I have taken over 30 quilt classes from Quilt University and greatly improved my quilting skills. It's a great way to learn and you don't have to lug around a sewing machine.
Hope to keep in touch once in awhile.

Thank you all for your welcomes and hello howdy do's. I think it's good to be here, but again, I have an addictive personality so I will probably spend too much time on the Board and lurking around.
As with students in Quilt University classes, it is great to touch bases with folks from all around the world and to see so much activity in quilting. Who knew?
