    Hi,
Just wanted to say hello from Rhode Island. I am new to this board and hope to find some other quilters and gain some tips and hints.
I have a large fabric collection, all types, not too many ufo's and mostly do hand quilting. It takes me awhile, but I like the process and the results.
Any other hand quilters out there?

Hello, welcome to the board! I am not a hand quilter, but many here are. Check out the other posts using the search feature, I am sure there is a lot of info on hand quilting and check out our chats, too!

Thanks for the welcome. I'll try to keep up somewhat with this group. Currently I am trying to finish quilting a log cabin quilt for my father for christmas. Colors are shades of purple and turquoise. I had fun picking all the colors.

Welcome, I also do hand quilting, so it takes a while to finish thing. I wish that I could say I don't have any UFO's.

    Susan,
I didn't say I have no ufo's-- just not too many. I really have to restrain myself to not start a new project until the current one is done. That means only one quilt in the hoop at a time and only one top in progress. I have alot of not yet started projects-- would that be NYSUFO's? LOL-- needless to say I have alot of ideas and usually buy the fabric or parts of it long before I get to cut and piece the quilt.

Welcome, Rhode Island quilter. I am a Rhode Island quilter, as well. I live in Washington County, have a huge stash and lots of UFO's. In this small state, we probably already know each other. I have been learning lots of good info and making lots of friends. Glad that you have joined this quilting board.
